Narcissist Behavior Q&A

📝 When I'm confused, how do I write down the facts?

When memory and judgment blur, record their verifiable words and actions first. One objective line of notes helps keep your grip on reality.

The short answer

When, where, who, what was said, and what changed — that much is enough.

Scenes like this

  • After every conversation, you can't tell whether you started it.
  • The promises and instructions keep shifting, and explaining it is hard.

How to tell the difference

Record the behavior — "called 12 times at 10 p.m." — over the intent — "they were trying to destroy me."

When this happens, try this

  • Write plainly in four fields: [date / what they said / what they did / what followed] — just the facts, as they were.
  • But if being caught with these notes could bring abuse or retaliation, send them to a locked personal cloud account or someone you trust instead.
