🛑 Physical violence is force applied to another person's body — shoving, grabbing, hitting — that injures them or stops their movement. No visible wound, and even a single instance, still means looking to safety first.
Often seen in situations like these
Your arm gets gripped hard, or you're pushed to the wall, to stop you leaving. The apology comes — and then so does the same behavior.
When this happens, try this
💡 While violence is underway, skip the explanations — move first to somewhere safe with an exit and call 911. If injured, get medical care first, and from safety, calmly preserve photos of the injuries and the medical records.
